Websites, Funnels, and Digital Business Cards

There are three essential digital marketing tools that every business should use in order to be successful: websites, funnels, and digital business cards.

Each of these serve a different but important purpose in your overall sales system. In this blog post, we'll discuss the four critical differences between these three tools and how you can use all of them to create a predictable sales system for your business. Stay tuned!

Websites

A website is a hub for information about your business on the internet.

It's usually the first place that prospects will go to learn more about you and what you do. Your website should be designed to educate your visitors about your products or services and help them make a buying decision. Your website SHOULD have a ton of information about you that a funnel would not have. Where a website opens your prospects up to many decisions about where to click, what to read, and what actions need to be taken, a funnel is far more straightforward.

Funnels

A digital sales funnel is a digital process that guides your prospect through a profitable customer journey.

A well-designed funnel will take your prospect from awareness to purchase and beyond. Funnels are comprised of several binary (yes or no) decisions that collectively indicate intent and motivation in your prospect. A funnel should be designed to nurture your prospects and build trust so that they eventually make a buying decision. Funnels can be simple, like a basic opt in connecting to a thank you page. They can also be highly complex, routing the customer between sites, videos, webinars, and emails to maximize their likelihood of conversion.

Digital Business Cards

A digital business card is your first impression. It's designed to encourage other people to go through your digital sales funnel. A digital business card should be visually appealing and contain a call-to-action that encourages the recipient to learn more about your business. They should link to your funnels, websites, social media, press, publications, and anything else you think will make a powerful first impression. Remember, the digital business card is what people remember when they decide to Google your business or click on your ads.

By using all three of these elements - website, funnel, and digital business card - you can create a sales system for your business that is reliable and predictable.
